My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although small, were decent overall; however, they became quite humid and stuffy during the hot day and warm evening. The service was friendly for the most part, but a noisy encounter with chatting staff outside my room early on a Sunday morning was a downside. The location was ideal for exploring Guildford and nearby attractions, offering a comfortable setting for my visits. The dining experience, while the food was good, took a bit too long to reach me and seemed overpriced. The facilities were satisfactory but nothing exceptional.
Even though the hotel had some noise issues due to a nearby wedding reception and a lack of air conditioning making the room hot, the stay was made more pleasant with the provided Bose sound bar. The location was perfect for exploring the town, with a few drawbacks in terms of rush hour traffic and sound separation in the Coach House.
